Customer was an established company in north India. While it already had its product range in construction equipment, it wanted to enter backhoe loader market with unique product positioning.
Backhoe loader being an established and competitive market, offering an unique feature required thorough understanding of the product and its market behavior. After detailed market analysis and brainstorming, we proposed a unique Best-In-Class performance parameters with 50hp engine instead of 75hp. There are few more innovative features added in the construction of machine for better manufacturability and serviceability.
Our proposal helped customer to uniquely position their new product in the market and they rewarded us with design, proto development and testing of this machine.
Our team of experts at different system levels (Structure, Hydraulics, Powertrain, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial design etc) collaborated and worked on this project for about 06 months to create a targeted vehicle design.
Our years long exposure with different components suppliers helped us to use the best solution within defined time frame.
We used Creo as CAD platform and Ansys as structure analysis tool to execute this project.
We delivered a product with competitive specs, compactness in size, cost effectiveness and unique features.
We supported our customer during proto development. Our team was involved with customer in factory as well as on-field testing of proto machine for design validation.
Proto vehicle was successfully validated and the same is in regular product. Also, this product found really good response in the market and growing its position.
